Foster, adoptive, kinship, and vulnerable families often face challenges that were never meant to be carried alone. While not everyone is called to foster or adopt, everyone can play a meaningful role in helping children and families thrive.
This workshop explores one of the most powerful shifts a church can make: moving from seeing family support as the responsibility of a few to embracing it as a shared calling of the whole church. Participants will discover practical ways to mobilize people around the gifts, skills, relationships, and resources they already possess, creating a culture where families are surrounded by consistent, meaningful support.
Through stories, examples, and actionable strategies, church and ministry leaders will learn how to build sustainable support systems, engage more people in the mission, and create environments where families feel seen, strengthened, and equipped for the long journey ahead.
