Does US law protect the religious liberty of those serving in the foster care system? Recently, government agencies in several states have excluded people of faith from foster care and adoption programs because of their sincerely held religious beliefs related to gender and other themes. Join Johannes Widmalm-Delphonse, senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, to learn how these exclusionary policies are being challenged on behalf of Christian families in Oregon, Washington, and Vermont. This workshop will explore how these policies weaken the foster system and also violate the Constitutional protections of all Americans. We will also touch on what current science reveals about gender dysphoria and the harms of social, pharmaceutical, and surgical interventions to young children.
