Keeping relationships with biological families after adoption

Historically, the norm after adoption has been to exclude biological families. However, there has been a recent increase in understanding of the healing power of reconnecting and emotionally reuniting with biological family members. This workshop features the stories of two mothers—one biological and one adoptive—who will share their journeys of balancing boundaries and emotions to help their children heal. The two mothers will present together, sharing how to build successful relationships and navigate difficult situations.
